DM Archana Verma reviewed the preparations for the Hathras Festival to be held from March 24 to 28 at Bagla College, Hathras. The DM instructed the concerned departmental officers to complete the preparations on time. On the other hand, on March 26, Hemant Brajwasi will give his presentation at the Hathras Festival.

Hemant Brajwasi, better known as Hemu, won Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs in the year 2009 at the age of 11. At the age of 20, Hemant also won Rising Star 2. He worked as a playback singer in Shurma and Manikarnika The Queen of Jhansi.

The District Magistrate directed to ensure space for the shopkeepers to set up shops at the festival site and to make arrangements for parking in the ground. He said that the traffic system should not be affected during the festival. If the arrangement of cleanliness at the festival site is not satisfactory, the District Magistrate directed the Executive Officer, Municipality Hathras, to provide the report along with the photographs while getting the cleanliness done immediately.

He instructed the District Tourism Information Officer to complete all the preparations for the successful organization of the Hathras Festival. The District Tourism Officer said that the artistes have been finalized for this festival. The date-wise presentation of all the artists has been drawn up.
